| | | his heart did not lie of what he saw. (11) | | مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى ﴿11﴾ | what, will you dispute with him about what he sees! (12) | | أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَى مَا يَرَى ﴿12﴾ | indeed, he saw him in another descent (13) | | وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَى ﴿13﴾ | at the lote tree (sidrat tree) of the ending (14) | | عِندَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى ﴿14﴾ | close to the garden of refuge. (15) | | عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَى ﴿15﴾ | when there comes to the lote tree, that which comes (16) | | إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَى ﴿16﴾ | his eyes did not swerve, nor did they stray (17) | | مَا زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَى ﴿17﴾ | for indeed he saw one of the greatest signs of his lord. (18) | | لَقَدْ رَأَى مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَى ﴿18﴾ | (among the idols) have you considered allat and al'uzza, (19) | | أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّى ﴿19﴾ | and, another, the third manat? (20) | | وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الْأُخْرَى ﴿20﴾ |
