| | | In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | have you seen he who belied the recompense? (1) | | أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ﴿1﴾ | it is he who turns away the orphan (2) | | فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ﴿2﴾ | and does not urge others to feed the needy. (3) | | وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ﴿3﴾ | woe to those who pray, (4) | | فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿4﴾ | who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), (5) | | الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿5﴾ | who show off, (6) | | الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاؤُونَ ﴿6﴾ | and prevent the utensils of assistance. (7) | | وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ﴿7﴾ |
