| | | i swear by the twilight; (16) | | فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ ﴿16﴾ | by the night and all that it envelops; (17) | | وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ﴿17﴾ | by the moon, in its fullness (18) | | وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ ﴿18﴾ | that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. (19) | | لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ﴿19﴾ | what is the matter with them, that they do not believe (20) | | فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿20﴾ | and when the koran is recited to them that they do not prostrate! (21) | | وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ﴿21﴾ | no, the unbelievers only belie, (22) | | بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ يُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿22﴾ | and allah knows very well what they gather. (23) | | وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ﴿23﴾ | therefore give to them glad tidings of a painful punishment, (24) | | فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ﴿24﴾ | except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. (25) | | إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ﴿25﴾ |
