| | | In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | when the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, (1) | | إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ﴿1﴾ | and when the earth brings forth its burdens (2) | | وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ﴿2﴾ | and the human asks: "what is the matter with it?" (3) | | وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا ﴿3﴾ | on that day it shall proclaim its news, (4) | | يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ﴿4﴾ | for your lord will have revealed to it. (5) | | بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَى لَهَا ﴿5﴾ | on that day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. (6) | | يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ ﴿6﴾ | whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, (7) | | فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ﴿7﴾ | and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. (8) | | وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ ﴿8﴾ |
