| | | and he who fears shall remember, (10) | | سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَى ﴿10﴾ | but the most wretched shall avoid it, (11) | | وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى ﴿11﴾ | who will roast in the great fire, (12) | | الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَى ﴿12﴾ | in which he will neither die nor live therein. (13) | | ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَى ﴿13﴾ | prosperous is he who purifies himself, (14) | | قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّى ﴿14﴾ | and remembers the name of his lord, so he prays. (15) | | وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّى ﴿15﴾ | but you prefer the present life, (16) | | بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا ﴿16﴾ | but the everlasting life is better, and more enduring. (17) | | وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى ﴿17﴾ | surely, this is in the ancient scrolls, (18) | | إِنَّ هَذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَى ﴿18﴾ | the scrolls of abraham and moses. (19) | | صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَى ﴿19﴾ |
