say: 'i am ordered to worship allah making my religion sincerely his. (11) | | قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ الدِّينَ ﴿11﴾ |
i am ordered to be the first of those to be submissive (muslims to him). ' (12) | | وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَنْ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ﴿12﴾ |
say: 'indeed, if i rebel against my lord i fear the punishment of a dreadful day. ' (13) | | قُلْ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿13﴾ |
say: 'i worship allah and make my religion sincerely his. (14) | | قُلِ اللَّهَ أَعْبُدُ مُخْلِصًا لَّهُ دِينِي ﴿14﴾ |
(as for yourselves) worship what you will, other than him. ' say: 'the losers are surely those who lose themselves and their families on the day of resurrection. is that not a clear loss? ' (15) | | فَاعْبُدُوا مَا شِئْتُم مِّن دُونِهِ قُلْ إِنَّ الْخَاسِرِينَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَلَا ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِينُ ﴿15﴾ |
above them they shall have layers of fire and beneath them layers. by this allah puts fear into his worshipers. ' 'o my worshipers, fear me! ' (16) | | لَهُم مِّن فَوْقِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ مِّنَ النَّارِ وَمِن تَحْتِهِمْ ظُلَلٌ ذَلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ اللَّهُ بِهِ عِبَادَهُ يَا عِبَادِ فَاتَّقُونِ ﴿16﴾ |
those who shun the worship of idols and turn in repentance to allah for them glad tidings. therefore give good tidings to my worshipers, (17) | | وَالَّذِينَ اجْتَنَبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ أَن يَعْبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فَبَشِّرْ عِبَادِ ﴿17﴾ |
who listen to the words and follow what is finest of it. these are they whom allah has guided. they are those of understanding. (18) | | الَّذِينَ يَسْتَمِعُونَ الْقَوْلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحْسَنَهُ أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ هَدَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ ﴿18﴾ |
can you save from the fire he whom against the word of punishment has been realized? (19) | | أَفَمَنْ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ كَلِمَةُ الْعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِي النَّارِ ﴿19﴾ |
as for those who fear their lord, there await high mansions above which are built (more) high mansions, beneath which rivers flow, such is the promise of allah; allah will not fail his promise. (20) | | لَكِنِ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ غُرَفٌ مِّن فَوْقِهَا غُرَفٌ مَّبْنِيَّةٌ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لَا يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ الْمِيعَادَ ﴿20﴾ |
