how many a beast does not bear its own provision. allah provides for it, as (he provides) for you. he is the hearer, the knower. (60) | | وَكَأَيِّن مِن دَابَّةٍ لَا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ﴿60﴾ |
if you ask them: 'who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon? ' they will say: 'allah. ' how perverted they are! (61) | | وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ فَأَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ ﴿61﴾ |
allah outspreads and restricts his provision to whomsoever he will of his worshipers. allah has knowledge of all things. (62) | | اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ﴿62﴾ |
if you were to ask them: ''who sends down water out of the sky and thereby revives the earth after it was dead, ' they will reply: 'allah. ' say: 'praise, belongs to allah! ' no, but most of them do not understand. (63) | | وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ ﴿63﴾ |
the life of this world is nothing but a diversion and play. indeed, the everlasting residence is the eternal life, if they but knew. (64) | | وَمَا هَذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ وَإِنَّ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ لَهِيَ الْحَيَوَانُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿64﴾ |
when they embark upon ships, they call to allah making their religion sincerely his; but when he brings them safe to the land, they associate others with him (65) | | فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا فِي الْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿65﴾ |
showing ingratitude for what we have given them and take their enjoyment; soon they shall know! (66) | | لِيَكْفُرُوا بِمَا آتَيْنَاهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿66﴾ |
do they not see how we appointed a safe sanctuary while all around them people are snatched away? would they believe in falsehood and do they disbelieve in the favor of allah! (67) | | أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا آمِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ النَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ أَفَبِالْبَاطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ يَكْفُرُونَ ﴿67﴾ |
and who does greater evil that he who forges a lie against allah or belied the truth when it comes to him! is there not a lodging in gehenna for the unbelievers? (68) | | وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءهُ أَلَيْسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَافِرِينَ ﴿68﴾ |
those who struggle in our cause, we will surely guide them to our ways; and allah is with those who do good. (69) | | وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿69﴾ |
