| | | surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! (89) | | لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا ﴿89﴾ | thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down (90) | | تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا ﴿90﴾ | because they have ascribed a son to the merciful. (91) | | أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَنِ وَلَدًا ﴿91﴾ | it is not for the merciful to take a son! (92) | | وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا ﴿92﴾ | there is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the merciful as a worshiper. (93) | | إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا آتِي الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدًا ﴿93﴾ | he has counted them and exactly numbered all; (94) | | لَقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا ﴿94﴾ | and each one shall come to him on the day of resurrection, alone. (95) | | وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا ﴿95﴾ | those who believe and do righteous deeds, the merciful will assign for them love. (96) | | إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ وُدًّا ﴿96﴾ | we have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. (97) | | فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا ﴿97﴾ | how many generations have we destroyed before them! do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? (98) | | وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا ﴿98﴾ |
