| | | and we made the day for a livelihood. (11) | | وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا ﴿11﴾ | and we built above you seven strong ones, (12) | | وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا ﴿12﴾ | and placed in them a blazing lamp (13) | | وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا ﴿13﴾ | and have sent down from the clouds, pouring rain (14) | | وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاء ثَجَّاجًا ﴿14﴾ | that we may bring forth with it grain, plants (15) | | لِنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبًّا وَنَبَاتًا ﴿15﴾ | and luxuriant gardens. (16) | | وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا ﴿16﴾ | indeed, the day of decision is an appointed time, (17) | | إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَاتًا ﴿17﴾ | the day that the horn is blown, and you shall come in crowds (18) | | يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًا ﴿18﴾ | and heaven is opened, having gates, (19) | | وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاء فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَابًا ﴿19﴾ | and the mountains move, and vaporize. (20) | | وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا ﴿20﴾ |
