| | | In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | what do they question each other about! (1) | | عَمَّ يَتَسَاءلُونَ ﴿1﴾ | about the great news (2) | | عَنِ النَّبَإِ الْعَظِيمِ ﴿2﴾ | whereupon they are at variance? (3) | | الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ ﴿3﴾ | indeed, they shall know! (4) | | كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ ﴿4﴾ | again, indeed, they shall know! (5) | | ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ ﴿5﴾ | have we not made the earth as a cradle (6) | | أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا ﴿6﴾ | and the mountains as pegs? (7) | | وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا ﴿7﴾ | and we created you in pairs, (8) | | وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ﴿8﴾ | and we made your sleep a rest, (9) | | وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا ﴿9﴾ | and we made the night a mantle, (10) | | وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا ﴿10﴾ |
