| | | as a provision for the worshipers; thereby we revived a land that was dead. such shall be the emerging. (11) | | رِزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا كَذَلِكَ الْخُرُوجُ ﴿11﴾ | before them, the nation of noah, the nation of arrass belied and so did thamood (12) | | كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ ﴿12﴾ | and aad, pharaoh and the brothers of lot, (13) | | وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَانُ لُوطٍ ﴿13﴾ | the dwellers of the thicket and the nation of tubba', all belied their messengers, therefore my threat was realized. (14) | | وَأَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ ﴿14﴾ | what, were we wearied by the first creation? no, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. (15) | | أَفَعَيِينَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ بَلْ هُمْ فِي لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ﴿15﴾ | indeed, we created the human. we know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. (16) | | وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ ﴿16﴾ | when both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, (17) | | إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ ﴿17﴾ | whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. (18) | | مَا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ ﴿18﴾ | and when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'this is what you have been trying to avoid! ' (19) | | وَجَاءتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ ذَلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ ﴿19﴾ | and the horn shall be blown; that is the day of threat! (20) | | وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ ذَلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيدِ ﴿20﴾ |
