| | | when he reached it, he was called: 'o moses, (11) | | فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِي يَا مُوسَى ﴿11﴾ | i am your lord. take off your shoes, for you are in towa, the sacred valley. (12) | | إِنِّي أَنَا رَبُّكَ فَاخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ﴿12﴾ | i have chosen you. therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. (13) | | وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَى ﴿13﴾ | indeed, i am allah. there is no god except me. worship me, and establish the prayer of my remembrance. (14) | | إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي ﴿14﴾ | the hour is coming. i almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. (15) | | إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ ءاَتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَى ﴿15﴾ | do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires bar you from it, or you will perish. (16) | | فَلاَ يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَنْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَتَرْدَى ﴿16﴾ | what is that in your right hand, moses? ' (17) | | وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَا مُوسَى ﴿17﴾ | 'it is my staff," moses replied, "upon it i lean and with it i beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it. ' (18) | | قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَى غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَى ﴿18﴾ | he said: 'moses, cast it down. ' (19) | | قَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَا مُوسَى ﴿19﴾ | so he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. (20) | | فَأَلْقَاهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَى ﴿20﴾ |
