In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
the command of allah will surely come; do not seek to hasten it. highly exalted is he above that they associate with him. (1) | | أَتَى أَمْرُ اللّهِ فَلاَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿1﴾ |
he sends down the angels with the spirit (gabriel) by his command to those of his worshipers whom he chooses, (saying:) 'warn, there is no god except me, therefore fear me. ' (2) | | يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلآئِكَةَ بِالْرُّوحِ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ عَلَى مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ أَنْ أَنذِرُواْ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنَاْ فَاتَّقُونِ ﴿2﴾ |
he created the heavens and the earth with truth. exalted is he above what they associate (with him)! (3) | | خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ تَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ﴿3﴾ |
he created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. (4) | | خَلَقَ الإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿4﴾ |
and the cattle he created for you. in them, you have warmth and other uses, and of them you eat. (5) | | وَالأَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا دِفْءٌ وَمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ ﴿5﴾ |
in them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. (6) | | وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسْرَحُونَ ﴿6﴾ |
they carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. your lord is the clement, the most merciful. (7) | | وَتَحْمِلُ أَثْقَالَكُمْ إِلَى بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُونُواْ بَالِغِيهِ إِلاَّ بِشِقِّ الأَنفُسِ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿7﴾ |
(he has created for you) horses, mules, and donkeys, which you ride and as an adornment; and he creates what you do not know. (8) | | وَالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيرَ لِتَرْكَبُوهَا وَزِينَةً وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿8﴾ |
it is for allah to show the way. some swerve from it, but had he willed, he would have guided all of you. (9) | | وَعَلَى اللّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئِرٌ وَلَوْ شَاء لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿9﴾ |
it is he who sends down water from heaven, which provides drink for you and brings forth trees on which your herds feed. (10) | | هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لَّكُم مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيهِ تُسِيمُونَ ﴿10﴾ |
