Chapter 74: AL-MUDDATHTHIR (THE CLOAKED ONE) - Translation

|
| | | In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ | o you (prophet muhamad), the cloaked, (1) | | يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ ﴿1﴾ | arise and warn, (2) | | قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ ﴿2﴾ | and exalt your lord, (3) | | وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ ﴿3﴾ | and purify your clothing, (4) | | وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ ﴿4﴾ | and flee from the statues! (5) | | وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ ﴿5﴾ | do not give, thinking to gain greater (6) | | وَلَا تَمْنُن تَسْتَكْثِرُ ﴿6﴾ | be patient unto your lord. (7) | | وَلِرَبِّكَ فَاصْبِرْ ﴿7﴾ | when the horn is blown, (8) | | فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ ﴿8﴾ | that shall be a harsh day (9) | | فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ ﴿9﴾ | and it will not be easy for the unbelievers. (10) | | عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ ﴿10﴾ |
