In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
yaseen. (1) | | يس ﴿1﴾ |
by the wise koran, (2) | | وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ ﴿2﴾ |
you (prophet muhammad) are truly among the messengers sent (3) | | إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿3﴾ |
upon a straight path. (4) | | عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿4﴾ |
the sending down of the mighty, the most merciful (5) | | تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿5﴾ |
so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. (6) | | لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ ﴿6﴾ |
the phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. (7) | | لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿7﴾ |
we have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. (8) | | إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلاَلًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ ﴿8﴾ |
we have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, we have covered them so that they do not see. (9) | | وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ ﴿9﴾ |
it is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. (10) | | وَسَوَاء عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿10﴾ |
