In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
taseenmeem. (1) | | طسم ﴿1﴾ |
those are the verses of the clear book. (2) | | تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ ﴿2﴾ |
perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. (3) | | لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿3﴾ |
if we will, we can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. (4) | | إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّن السَّمَاء آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ ﴿4﴾ |
a fresh remembrance has never come to them from the merciful, except they turn away from it. (5) | | وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ ﴿5﴾ |
so, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. (6) | | فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنبَاء مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون ﴿6﴾ |
have they not seen the earth, how many we caused to grow in it every generous kind? (7) | | أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿7﴾ |
surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. (8) | | إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿8﴾ |
your lord, he is the almighty, the most merciful. (9) | | وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿9﴾ |
and when your lord called to moses, saying: 'go to the harmdoing nation, (10) | | وَإِذْ نَادَى رَبُّكَ مُوسَى أَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿10﴾ |
