In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful | | بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |
have you not seen how allah dealt with the companions of the elephant? (1) | | أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ﴿1﴾ |
did he not cause their schemes to go astray? (2) | | أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ﴿2﴾ |
and he sent against them flights of birds (3) | | وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ﴿3﴾ |
pelting them with stones of baked clay, (4) | | تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ﴿4﴾ |
so that he made them like straw eaten (by cattle). (5) | | فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ ﴿5﴾ |
